Our collaboration with SimTec started when SimTec expanded its activities to structural mechanics, and has included consulting, as well as training services. SimTec has gained our confidence by their professionalism and their fast response to our needs, but also the needs of our clients.
In the above figure one can see a typical Knuckle Boom Crane Model, where the Main and Knuckle Boom, Crane House, Pin and Cylinders are modeled and used in the Stress Analysis of the Crane. The applied boundary conditions can be clearly seen in this figure such as the applied supports, gravitational and other accelerations, bearing loads, forces etc. In the Post Processing evaluation, the Equivalent, Normal and Shear Stresses can be verified that remain within the allowable limits of the Company’s Rules and Requirements.
