The ANSYS simulation tools have been used at BSH Hišni aparati d.o.o., Nazarje since 2012. At first only CFD tool Fluent was used for simulating mixing of fluids by mixers produced in our factory in order to study the mixing process and improve certain characteristics. Later structural analysis tools like ANSYS Mechanical and Explicit STR were introduced in order to challenge structural problems which appear during the testing phase of appliances. Some examples of simulation performed during last three years will be presented. The goal of the company is to use simulation tools in the early design process where changes to the design are easier to implement.
